Deferred?!

<p>So I log on to WebAdvisor today only to see the dreaded "roll to regular decision" message. I wasn't expecting that. Without going through my all my stats, the basics are:
3.2 unweighted gpa
3.8 weighted gpa
1830 sat
no subject tests or act
white
live in Vegas
applied to Argyros Business for Entrepreneurship </p>

<p>My initial thought is maybe they're too backed up and because my letter of rec and transcripts weren't acknowledged until 12/23, somehow I was too late for early decision.</p>

<p>And especially applying for entrepreneurship when I already have my own company, and said that all over my application, I thought I was in for sure.</p>

<p>I guess I'm just venting and looking for some kind of explanation. Anyone know if deferrals like me have a real chance? Is there anything I can do to help improve my chances at this point? And lastly, I was hoping for some form of scholarship, but now even if they do accept me, I can kiss that goodbye huh?</p>

Good news is, you still have the same chance as everyone else…don’t lose hope!!</p>

<p>Thanks. Any clue why they do this though? Obviously they could have just rejected me so I still have some chance. Why not just make a call either way, instead of this application purgatory.</p>
