I'm thinking of applying to Chapman Undergrad Business program and I have a few questions about it.

How is it, in terms of career placement?

How is the career services office?

Are there frequent job fairs, and what kids of recruiters go to them (regional or national)?

Where do students, both current and graduating, usually get jobs?

Is it easy to make connections in the finance industry (or any other industry) at this school?

Some more info- I’m interested in working in either the finance industry or the media/entertainment industry. My dream job is working in music business, but I know most beginner’s jobs are unpaid internships, which I can’t afford. I really want to hear from current and graduate students, and their parents!

Also, what companies place the business majors into internships? Can anyone share a few names of specific companies and/or firms? I am trying to understand the real depth of this business program in comparison to USC, Univ of San Diego, and other S Calif business schools.
I know a few grads who went to work at the major talent agencies and now work with producers/production companies. They were not business students, though. If you are interested in music business I would guess that this sort of agency track could be one route but you should be aware then they don’t pay for crap, they just get you a foot in the door and exposed to connections…
