Chapman vs. UCSC

Hi everyone :)
I am just wondering which school has a better reputation or is regarded with more respect, CU or UCSC?

I am probably going to attend one of the two in the fall for Business.

Which is better for business?
Which has better job placement after graduation?
Which is more respected/has a higher rank?

Pros/Cons of each school? If anyone could reply, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! :)

UCSC is that Santa Cruz you are speaking of? IDK about UCSC but Chapman has a fabulous business school and the school’s reputation is growing nationally.

Yes, UC Santa Cruz.

Do you know any more information about Chapman’s business school? It was top 50 last year, but this year it’s not even ranked, which is odd :/

Chapman very well respected in the So Cal business community much opportunity, internships, especially locally in So. Cal. The school is growing. Many changes may be coming in UC’s due to budget issues so investigate thoroughly. OF course, UCSC may be cheaper but if you have to attend for a 5 or 6th year due to unavailability of classes, may be not. good luck!

My daughter is considering Chapman for business. I didn’t even know UCSC had business. SHe got into Davis and UCSB, which aren’t exactly business schools either. Looking more at Chapman or large out of state schools

Chapman seems to have a great business school with really good opportunities to go to grad school.

I’m currently considering going to Chapman over UC Berkeley.

Here is what I think. The UC’s are very good schools but they are very large and if you want to go to a grad school then you will have a lot of problem if you cannot graduate at the top of your class, I think that this is less true if you are coming from a smaller school. Also, I think that studying business is something that requires a lot of work in a smaller setting which would be the case at a place like Chapman.
