Chapman University ranked sixth best regional campus in the West

<p>Chapman University ranked as the sixth best regional campus in the West in the 2013 U.S. News and World Report's ranking of America's colleges and universities, released Wednesday.</p>

<p>Chapman University moved up one spot from 2012. The school also ranked first regionally on the list of the up-and-coming universities for its promising and innovative changes in the areas of academics, faculty and student life. Chapman's regional ranking has improved each year since 1991, when the school ranked 61st</p>

<p>"The steady U.S. News ranking increase that Chapman has achieved over the past 22 years is a feat unmatched by any other university in the nation," said Chapman President James Doti. "This honor affirms the hard work and commitment to excellence of our faculty and staff, as well as reflecting the steadily increasing quality of our students and recent and upcoming enhancements to our campus and academic programs."</p>
