I am looking to go into either Chapman University or University of San Diego on the Pre-Med track. The major criteria for my college search include: research/medical internship opportunities, competitiveness, which will set me up best for med school, GPA, close relationship with teachers, class size, and school spirit.
I don’t think it matters too much just as long as you take care of business and slay the MCAT and obtain a high gpa. Neither school has renown research programs so you will have to apply for a summer bio med intern at a biotech. The advantage of attending a small school vs. a larger one like UCLA or Cal is you will likely be able to obtain a more personal recommendation.
