<p>I think every kid who has an acceptance in hand should view a WL as a denial. Love the schools that love you the most. Groton has always been one of my son’s favorite schools. It was the last decision to come. He had 4 acceptances in hand by 6:00pm on March 10th. When he found that he was waitlisted (again!) he gave himself about 5 seconds of disappointment, remembered the opportunities he had received, and it was like Groton who? (thanks toombs

<p>I understand. You want to be a Paulie. Lots of people do. A record number of kids do. But you weren’t offered a place. You’ll have to “settle” for being a Phillipian or an Exonian instead. It’s OK to be a disappointed, but your reaction to this is making me question whether you’ll be able to deal with not getting what you want while you’re at BS. It’s really coming across as bratty.</p>

<p>I’m sorry if I came off a little arrogant everyone, believe me I’m ecstatic with my acceptances. Too be honest though Andover was really my parents thing. Exeter was just because everyone else was. St Paul was a school on my own. Deerfield was wailist. I’m really really sorry if I offended or made anyone feel bad. Good luck to all of you if you decide to apply again or decide to stay wherever you may be.</p>

<p>Well my parents want Andover for the exact same reasons u stated divealive not to mention it is needblind. Also I’m not saying I’m depressed I’m happy but I’ll wait to see if I get into sps or not it’s still my dream school. If not Im pretty stoked for Exeter, they have a beast football team.
