Che Guevara - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

lord with all the rightist people on this forum, che's not gonna get any love :(

aw thanks for enlightening me :)

Funny you mention him, I saw a pin of his face on a guy's hat on the train the other day, kinda odd...

Are you serious? lololololololol

Go ahead and read everyone else's opinion: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/539187-che-guevara-t-shirt-icon-terrorists.html?

sorry for having an opinion invenviam :(

Well, you asked "anyone else?" and I figured you'd like to see that there's already been a HSL thread on this very subject! Imagine that! D:

i dont agree with what their saying in that thread, che took his experiences of poverty in childhood and worked at improving his government. i don't see the comparison with hitler...

but i guess you were right in providing the link

For all you guys who think he's bad news...

watch "The Motorcycle Diaries."

He's a great leader.

America just says he's evil because he's a communist.

Yeah, great leader, which effectively means nothing in terms of hero-worshipping him.

Bless you hilsa, lol

that's a great movie btw

damn invenviam, your harsher than i am

TIME 100: Che Guevara

=]

Communism's cool, but it don't work, kids.

Actually, my friends and I have had an ongoing debate about this.

Yes, everyone has the same property as everyone else, also meaning that everyone gets paid the same, regardless of the job being a doctor or janitor. But the fact that everyone gets equal pay ensures that only the people who genuinely care about wanting to help people (not just help people AND get paid bunches of dollars) are doctors. Yes, these people actually exist.

Pure communism can work, as does pure capitalism.

Communism inevitably doesn't work because there are always corrupt, greedy people who ruin everything.

But, folks, capitalism doesn't really work either... because there are always corrupt, greedy people who ruin everything. We can see that in America's current economic status: fail.

Ugh... I don't mind Guevara that much personally (I am personally not a communist, but I respect anybody who is willing to fight for what they believe in, at the very least), but I just can't stand the Che Guevara shirts and other assorted merchandise that people wear to be trendy. FFS, they don't even know who he was or why using his face in such a capitalist fashion is just wrong.

^agreed, jaimeastorga and hilsa

Jaimeastoria, I completely agree too. Wearing Che shirts is basically an oxymoron. Though, I guess wearing any pro-communist shirt is being hypocritical then. But I still would wear one (not necessarily a Che one though).

Two of my friends are legally registered as part of the Communist party.

Yep.

lol, tell your friends they have my respect
