Hi, is it generally cheaper to take classes during the summer? Or about the same as the regular semester?

Depends on how many classes you take. You pay-per-unit during the summer but you pay one tuition fee for an entire semester (when you can take up to a max of 20-something units). Taking 13-units during the summer (spread out among sessions) is cheaper than taking 13-units during a regular semester. But taking 17-units during the summer (not advised; not even sure if it’s possible) is more expensive than taking 17-units during the semester.

If you take at least 6 units in the summer and are on financial aid, they are free.
