I was recently put into my ap calc exam right next to the smartest kid in our class. I’m not the smartest student and far from it, and so I basically took the majority of his MC, and I feel awful. I changed a few answers but bombed the FRQ’s. I understand that what I did was wrong, and I am wondering if I have a chance at not getting caught or if I should cancel my score. I know, shame on me. I really wanna know what’s going to happen though. Please help.
Cancel your score. There is a form you can submit by June 15th to do so. Leave it at that.
Cancel your score, in no way should you potentially benefit from getting a score high enough to get college placement and/or credit.
Furthermore, your post doesn’t really sound like you regret making a poor choice. Hopefully cancelling the score and the prospect of receiving no benefit from taking this course (in terms of college placement/credit) will be enough of a consequence that you don’t cheat again.
Assuming that this is a legitimate post, which I doubt, the OP is well and truly screwed since the MC portion of the AP Calc exam is scrambled; so the questions are in a different order for different students. So yeah, OP might as well just cancel the exam now, since the OP’s pattern of responses will likely result in his/her test being flagged for review.
Forgot calc MC is scrambled, good call ski! OP, here are the details, page 13 https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/pdf/ap-exam-instructions-2019.pdf
It is, and I really screwed up. I now understand the depths of discomfort this has brought me and never plan on doing it again. thank you!
Update; I’m printing out the form afterschool today. Thanks.
