<p>I just sent a PM to Roger Dooley regarding the banner at the top of the USAFA page, and would urge any others who frequent the board to express their opinion regarding it too.</p>
<p>We did awhile back when it first came up there. No luck otherwise.</p>
<p>I agree that it's time to retire that nearly 6 month old "featured" discussion. I see that the Naval Academy and USAFA are the only two Service Academies that have a "featured discussion" banner in the first place. </p>
<p>Surely, there is a more current event to "feature".</p>

<p>So I received a reply that a featured thread must be scrolled off by more recent news. I suggested Roger might want to replace it with news about the return of CST the combat survival course, or Airmanship being conducted in basic training allowing the basics a glider flight. I also mentioned that there is no feature thread for Ward Churchill being fired from University of Colorado, or the Administration at East Michigan being dismissed for covering up the murder of a coed. Lets all send Roger a suggestion for new featured threads.</p>
<p>Who is Roger and how do I contact him? I, too, would like to see the negative banner removed. It is no longer current.</p>
