So, I let a “friend” copy my paper and I thought she would put things into her own words but guess out. So long story short we both have to have a meeting about it to see if it’s going to be misconduct or not, but im worried because I wanted to transfer and I already got accepeted into another school already. Like I got my admission letter and everything it’s all settled , but im wondering if this is going to affect my status with the school I got accepeted in to?
If this goes on your record your new school will be aware of it. Admission may be rescinded.
The larger issue is allowing another student to copy your paper. The issue is not the failure of the other student to modify text, but allowing her to copy. Please reconsider cheating. It is wrong!
