Cheating

Alright everyone needs to relax… the two sides to this argument are clearly not going to concede to the other side so stop ranting
also, if you actually read markus10’s post, he was asking what to do from now, not your valuable opinions on the situation
markus10, I would sit tight and let the ETS take care of it… you already reported the situation, nothing much you can do now

cheaters don’t fooling anyone but themselves. :)

Aside from all the morality and “was it right” questions, all I know is that if I were in the testing room and my score got canceled and I had to study for it AGAIN to take it in the summer, I’d be *ed. Not saying it was right or wrong, just that I’d be *ed (:

Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise. You’ll have some more time to study, AND you got a 100% real simulation of how the test is going to be… so you know how to better prepare next time. You don’t always get this opportunity… :p

Hey, I’m just trying to be positive here.

Wow… I’m appalled at those who say it’s wrong for him to report. You did sign an agreement saying you would report incidents of cheating before taking the AP test, so honor it. The OP made the right decision.

You have to think beyond the feelings of others and what they could possibly do to you. If it was me, I’d say do something, and see what happens(I would kick some ass).

There is a level of anonymity with reporting these things, so there would have to be a major leak.
In addition, it takes someone of high character to do such a thing when clearly it’s not the favorable thing and the possible consequences. Therefore, I commend the OP on his decision.
