<p>and I think you mean to say past participle because gerund is the -ing form which would be pudiendo. But yes, podido is the past participle of poder. :p</p>

<p>You're trying to say "If you could speak, you would not say 'to call the telephone'"? right? why do you need "por que"? ... or are you saying "If..., why would you say to 'call the telephone'" ... and get rid of "no"? ...either one use the would thing, so it's conditional ... no?</p>

<p>lol no problema, and actually maybe my spanish teacher was wrong but he told us that when u use "hubiera podido" it can go with preterite, not necessarily conditional...but i havent taken spanish for almost a year now so yeah im messed up on that</p>

<p>my spanish teacher wants me to take the AP Spanish test b/c the school doesn't offer it ... but I sure as heck wouldn't get a 5 ... a 4 is a more reasonable score. .. so kudos for a 5 and getting the verb tenses right.</p>
<p>From what I felt, the curve was pretty good. (I've heard rumors of them making the test harder for this year but they're just rumors so far..)
I came out of the test expecting a 3 and was pleasantly surprised when I earned a 5. For most colleges though a 4 will get you out of the requirement/give you credit so I say, go for it! My advice is to do a lot of practice with a tape recorder for the speaking section because it's easy to get nervous if you haven't practiced. Good luck!</p>
<p>okay im really getting antsy now...i sent in my application like dec 29 and brown STILL hasn't sent me any kind of letter confirming that they received it...</p>
<p>on the other hand, i WAS contacted for an interview in january...but maybe that's because i submitted part 1A and 1 or whatever they were called back in like october...</p>
<p>i called the admissions office once, and they said not to worry they were still processing (altho they were quite rude!! >:-( ) anyone else in a similar situation!??! im kinda freaking out here!</p>

<p>My Spanish has regressed back to Spanish 2 since I am not taking it this year. It totally sucks. I want to go to so much Brown because that is pretty much the only place where I could continue Spanish, French, and Italian (and start Portuguese!) while still being able to graduate on time.</p>
