Hey all,
I was recently admitted to Rice University under RD and was checking my ESTHER portal when the following error message popped up when I was trying to check “Award Status” which contains the cost of attendance.
“This page is not enabled for current user role(s).”
Is anyone else getting this error message?
In addition, I did not apply for financial aid. But I should be able to check the cost of attendance without having applied for FA right?

If you have not applied for Financial Aid, COA will not show (that’s used for financial aid calculations). If you’re looking for information on COA, it’s located on the Rice website: http://financialaid.rice.edu/COA.aspx Hope this helps!
Most schools will be jacking up their costs in the next few months. Highly unfair that they do this before the upcoming class can get the info but that’s how it usually works. Doubt that COA is going to be accurate for next year’s costs.
@cptofthehouse is right. Rice just increased their tuition about $2,000 for the upcoming year. They increase it every year, I think.
