get a fan or something.

the summers (or basically anytime not during the winter) can get warm to hot.

right now it is unbearably hot. yes to fans! there is no AC.

clean undies!! lmao

Jennifer7, What do you mean there’s no AC!? where are you living?

i live in middle earth but i believe it’s the same in mesa. supposedly some halls have AC in just the hallways but i wouldn’t really know about that

yea no A/C
but its not needed
not even in the summer
so its aight…

frisbee
sunglasses
power strip

well if that’s the case I’ll be sleeping in the hallway when it gets hot! ha ha
I guess it will be alright, I forgot I won’t be there during the summer :p

september was pretty warm because we had that long summer but in general sleeping in the room is totally fine, haha. but yeah, you guys should just check out that list i linked to because i used that as a basis and just erased whatever i didn’t have to bring, and added anything extra i thought of.

You’ll most likely want to share appliances with your roommate–dorm rooms aren’t exactly big–so anything you need to buy you should wait to discuss.
A tower fan won’t take up as much room.
Dorm kitchens have microwaves, but a mini refrigerator is good.
TV?
You’ll probably want a printer and spare ink cartridges for your computer–shared? Also a power strip and a long cable. (Routers are discouraged, but usable if you’re a geek or know one.) Speakers. Thumb drives, iPod, blank disks, etc.
Depending on your major, a portable HD may either be unnecessary, nice to have, or essential.
A lockbox for valuables–a footlocker with a good lock can do double duty and be big enough to hold video games, small musical instruments, etc.
Combination lock for the ARC
Desk light (s)
Wastebasket. Maybe a small paper shredder.
Laundry basket, popup or bag… Roll of quarters for laundromat. Dropps are easiest laundry detergent.
A shower caddy! Flip flops.
Earphones, earplugs, sleeping mask
Pushpins, removable putty, artist’s tape, xacto knife, stapler, Swiss army knife?
Two alarm clocks. (Cell phone or watch may double as backup alarm, otherwise a small travel alarm or wind up)
Water bottle and personal eating utensils–drinking glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery, etc.
Linens
School and personal supplies. Target is a good place.
A durable shopping bag–like those at Ikea–can be useful.
There are wheeled carts to move-in/move-out, but they aren’t normally available, and you can’t park next to the dorm.

Bong
Condom
Energy drink
