Check out the cheering competition on You tube. Put in USMMA in the search box and it will come up (specify the posting time as "in the last week".) Each company is shown. Also, if you can, hit the link below the picture that gives greater clarity to the video; with that you can definitely see the faces clearly. Enjoy! At least they are having some fun.

This is link that will get you to the 6 videos added in the last day.

Have fun,

So who won the competitions?

It looked to me like Company 2 in Blue won. There was a 14 sec video on the winner. I thought Company 4 was a close second, but then again I am totally baised!

Our son was one of the candidates leading 4th company in their cheer. Wow!!
And we thought he was not having alot of fun! He looks like he is having the time of his life. We watched it over and over last night and will show it to his friends. It's nice to see that it's not all marching!

4th company was awesome and it was the first time I saw my daughter smile!!! Watched it over and over!

Let's face it, FOURTH COMPANY ROCKS-right MMAMOM2011?

I am a 4th Co. Fan !!!!!!!!!!

All Right I will admit it that I too am a 4th Company Fan.

Seems to be a lot of us,

We had a good view of our son also and he was really into the cheer...shirt off
and belt on his head. He looked totally into the whole event in the pictures. It was good seeing him having fun. And yes we are 4th Co. fans also but I did like the cheer for 2nd Co. better. Sorry 4th Co. :)

You betcha kathynp!

But....we had to sweat it out for a couple of days. Son was texted from KP that 4th Co was too big and some were going to be moved. Anyone know anything further on that? I think it'd be ashame since these guys all went through indoc/plebe year together as a company.

I would not be good to go through INDOC and then you have to have a roommate from the new company you are put into.

We will keep our fingers crossed that our son will remain in 4th Company.

CPASteve

Keeping fingers crossed here also. Doesn't sound good for DS as he lost his roommate during Indoc. Oh well...I guess they need to learn flexibility and to follow orders.

My daughter is in company 2; can't wait to mention it today with our call. They really rocked it out! I am glad they remembered their nursery rhymes!!!!

Fourth co was the one that was the smallest last year and then they transferred everyone in. I don't think they should move them now. I haven't heard anything about that. Any news?

CPA Steve--

FYI They get a new roommate after indoc. Then again in December I think. My DS has had 3--this new guy is the fourth.

No word on company changes yet. But they started with 307 incoming plebe candidates and are down to 299 after indoc. Isn't that significantly more than last year? I thought they started with @280 last year?

They started with 282 last year and lost between 4-6 if my memory is correct.

Just curious, about how they get the numbers reduced? I was under the impression that they weren't allowed to quit during indocs?

I remember that at least 2 did not pass the random drug testing and were dismissed immediately!
