<p>My d was accepted there a few years ago. It is a very highly regarded school in the UK. Bigger than she wanted at the time, though, so she went elsewhere in the UK. pm me if you have questions, or go online and find an educational consultant who specializes in UK boarding schools - Peter Barnes is one who has a lot of knowledge and works with overseas applicants. I (daughter, posting on mom's account) almost went there! I visited and fell in LOVE and got in, spent the night in a dorm with some of the loveliest girls I'd ever met...but decided at the time (6th grade) I was a bit too young for boarding school. Now, as a rising senior at Exeter, I wish I'd gone to CLC...(and the town is one of the most gorgeous towns in England!)</p>
<p>I have a friend there who seems to love it. She always shows us pictures and talks about having a great time. She seems pushed very hard academically.</p>
<p>But compared to some of the other schools (Wycombe, St. Swithuns, Harrows, St. Pauls)...cheltenham doesn't seem to perform as well...is that true? Academically I mean.</p>
