I found the chem 14a textbook online for $50.00 but the website says the bundle is $180.00.. what else does the ucla chem book give you besides the textbook? should i go for the bundle, or just buy the textbook?

i think it has a solutions manual (the hardcover book doesnt have answers in the back) and a model kit.

model kit is useless, but you definitely need the solutions manual.

Which of course you can buy separately.. I think. Or possibly used even. I'd check, and it probably would be most cost effective to pick them up individually.

i don't know if we're allowed to post things like this but you may or may not be able to download textbooks and solution manuals in pdf format from the internet, which may or may not be illegal.
