with Professor Scerri any tips on how to succeed in his class
would you recommend buying his book The Periodic Table, Its Story and Its Significance?

I took 20A with him, but I assume the two classes aren't too different. Definitely don't buy his book. Instead, make sure you understand everything in his course reader and try to find the best TA.

ok thanks : )!

Everything will be out of that reader. Do the problems, practice. And know the reader.

omg scerri HES ****ING IMPOSSIBLE!

u better drop. change majors!

omg really! i wanted Larsen but his lecture was closed before my first pass :(

I hope this is sarcasm. Scerri's class is really easy if you know the course reader.

anyone know how larsen teaches?

nothing is impossible.

own it up.

umm he told us that he thinks 14A is a very watered down version of 20A and that hes only doing it to make up for his sins LOL i know hes weird...but yeah, so im guessing hes not gunna be hard and that he wont be very concerned about the class too...
just study crazy from the course reader and u'll do fine + get old tests and do them cuz he basically a lazy bum and is unwilling to make new questions.
