How are chemistry classes at UCI like? I'm currently in chem 1A at my CC but it's not going too well. I do hate chemistry in general but i did very well in chem 4 without even trying. I understood the materials quite well, granted my professor for chem 4 was good at her job. Now, my professor for 1A is super unorganized, that's a big understatement. His lectures are all over the place, no clear concise points. I don't know if chemistry is just not my thing or just bad professor. Someone suggested maybe i should leave chemistry to take at UCI after i transfer and focus on finishing my math and physics at CC. There aren't too many professor choices here at my CC and they're all bad from what i heard. To those who had taken chemistry at UCI, do you think that's wise to do?

Since UCI has uploaded its undergraduate chemistry courses to Youtube, there’s no need to guess how the professor’s teaching style would be like to you. Watch the videos for yourself to see whether you like them or not. Dr. Brindley and Dr. Arasasingham (the professors in the videos I linked you) are the professors that teach the most sections of the Chem 1 series at UCI so it’ll be quite likely you’ll take a class taught by them if you choose to take chemistry at UCI.
