Chem 1B needed for Medical School?

do we need chem 1b for med school?

or is the following enough:

chem 1a
chem 3a/l
chem 3b/l

but how do we show that we have a year of gen chem????

berkeley’s messed up like that.

i dont understand what you mean

I’m not premed, but maybe this’ll help: https://career.berkeley.edu/Medical/PrepPrereq.stm

Yup, we are the only school does this. No worries though.

so whats the bottom line?

Bottom line is that you take MCB 102 instead.

or c100a i guess? now does this course have to be completed prior to applying or simply prior to matriculating?
am i at a disadvantage if i haven’t finished this one course before i apply?

prior to matriculating i believe.

also, for dental, you have to do 1a/1b.

Yeah, you can take c100a too, but I wouldn’t take that one unless you need it for your MCB emphasis. I heard it was hard… I took 102 which wasn’t bad at all.
