I am currently in felker's 9 am lecture for next quarter and got an A in Scerri's 20A class.

I am thinking about switching to Chem 20BH with Mason instead. Is 20BH really that much harder or not? Also, is the curve in 20BH worse?

I’d also like to know this. I went through this dilemma with 20A and 20AH fall quarter too. How is Felker?

I really have no opinions about 20BH or AH. Admittedly I did not take either of them, but I am not aware of anyone who took those either. I think that just speaks for the size and popularity of those classes. I wouldn’t be confident in finding someone who would be able to talk more about them. That said, the honors classes probably aren’t terrible.

Mason and Felker are both fine. Mason’s 20B consisted of a lot of derivations on the board and an easy first midterm. The second midterm was considerably more difficult, while the final was fair. Not sure how his honors lecture would be structured. Felker’s style of teaching, at least for 110A, was also highly math involved and derivation-heavy (but that’s what you should expect because 110A is a continuation of 20B material).

Felker’s exam averages, anecdotally, are quite low but a class curve is probably equally generous. Take the honors section if you’re interested in the idea of “honors”-caliber classes, whatever that may entail with whomever is teaching it.
