<p>For those of you took chem 3a last fall, how full was the class? Will I be ok if i sign up for the lecture part in phase II ? (I signed up for the lab part during phase I, and is still waitlisted). </p>

<p>yes. you can sign up for the lecture part later and you should be able to get in. you should probably be more worried about the lab part.</p>

<p>I don't know if this will be helpful since I'm a new transfer student at Cal, but at CalSO my counselor said a good general rule is that if your number on the waitlist is 10% or less of the number of students enrolled in the class you will probably get in. So if there are 200 students in a class then you're pretty safe if you're in the first 20 on the waitlist.</p>
