<p>Here is what the publisher says:
"The ISBN of your book (ISBN: 0716773554) is the uncorrected 4th
edition of the text. ISBN 1429209658 is for the current, corrected
version of the 4th edition of Chemical Principles. The corrections that
have been made are not listed on-line."
Now I wonder how to get a list of corrections and if the original 4th is so bad as to be unusable. I paid the typically higher price for the newer version which was listed on half.com as such. But what arrived was the early, uncorrected printing. The book had been used at UCSD and I don't think the seller did this on purpose. I have no idea what's at the Bookstore now, but probably the corrected version.</p>
<p>the corrections usually aren’t that major. if you ever have a discrepancy, just email your TA. i’ve been asked stuff like that a zillion times.</p>
