I tried to register for Chem 7L - second time and nothing.
I am # 119 on waiting list.
There are over 250 kids waiting for that class.
What to do?
I cant find that class in my cc.
Assist.org is useless.

you wont get in, lol

i couldnt take that class (6bl) during summer session until i was a senior. So either you need to take it during the school year, or just wait until youre a senior. everyone who was in my lab section for summer session were all seniors, since they have an earlier reg time.

I should be taking this class now (bioengineering 1st year during Spring), but every section was full (I had a Sophomre standing).
So I was hopping for summer, and nothing.
Is that class going to stop me from taking any future class?

Nope, chem lab isn’t required for any of the bioengineering major classes.

i’m sorry to budge in but when is the day to drop summer session one courses without a W. How is the financial aid distribution for summer school?

They open new classes.
Hurry

Extra Chem 7L disappear from class schedule
Am I still on waiting list?

you can check that for yourself on tritonlink

At first I was #119 on waiting list.
They open 6 new classes with ZERO spaces.
And I am #1 on new waiting list.
Does it mean that I get that class or what?

If you are on the waitlist, you are not in the class.

So what did happen to those new open classes?
Are they going to be open or not?
What can I do to get to one?

If it’s zero enrollment, there’s nobody in there (duh). They’ll open eventually. Call the chem department and ask. (Then you might post the response back here to help other folks out.)

I called Chem Dept.
They don’t accept new waiting list.
So I return to original list.
Now I am #47

So I was #119, then #1 and now I am #47
No chance to get to that class.
Maybe next semester

Are you sure? Because on Tritonlink I’m still waitlisted for that section and 46 people seems like too small of a class for York 2622.

I am positive
All waitlist for section A03, A04, A05, A06, A07 and A08 are invalid.
So everyone who is on waitlist for those classes will be ignore.
I wrote to Mr. Richard S. Gopez from Chem Dept. and later I talked to him.
He suggested to comeback to my original list.
After that I dropped A04 and sign again for A01.

"Thanks for your email. This lab is being set-up as we speak. Students are offered
a seat based on position on the original waitlist (A01 or A02). It will not open
for enrollment, as it will already be full once we release the section.

Please call if you have further questions, 858-534-4856.

Thanks,
Richard"
