this is more a scoring question than anything else. ya know those problems with I and II and this is because of this and whatever T T CE...
what if u get like T F instead of T T or T T instead of T T CE does that count as one wrong on a multiple choice??

If it's not exactly like it should be, it's wrong. Sad because I have trouble with TT/TTCE sometimes :[

It has to be exact.

well it is like a multiple choice math question...
if u picked 10.9 instead of 10.8 and the latter was the correct answer, are you going to expect to get partial credit because u were close? probably not

also, in chem T/F/CE questions, there are only 5 choices:

T,T,CE
T,T
T,F
F,T
F,F

those are the choices u should put down...so it is similar to those roman numeral questions that we all come to love.

i'm reviving this thread because I am wondering if you'll get -1/4 if you answer it wrong. is it better to just leave it blank if you don't know the answer?

Yep, you'll get docked if you're wrong.
If you TRULY don't know the answer and you are just guessing, I would leave it blank. But if you have at least a clue and can elimate some answers, then take a stab at the answer.

the rule about sats is that if you can eliminate at least one answer, you should guess. Therefore if you know for sure that one of the statements is true or false, i guess go ahead and guess on the whole thing because you've eliminated at least one answer by knowing one statement for sure

this is still true for the T/F/CE questions on SAT II Chem right?
