chem sat II

What's the best chemistry SAT II book out there?
Which one(s) overprepares you?

i used sparknotes and liked it a lot and did well. it did not, however, OVERprepare me.

I used PR for an 800, but I also was in AP Chem this year.

I used Barron's and PR's and increased my score 280points

I'm taking SAT 2 Chem in October. :D

Well, I'm currently using Kaplan right now, but it has a lot of errors and the raw score scale sheet is incorrect. I think it's okay, but I only took the diagnostic test.

I heard PR is good with a combination of free SparkNotes practice tests and perhaps Barron's.

The general consensus is that Barron's and Kaplan overprepare you, but PR has good set of realistic practice tests.

Good luck! Study hard! :)

Barron clearly overprepares you, and we've never tried Kaplan. You can't go wrong with Princeton Review, and I would be wary of Spark notes. Good luck.
