Chemical Engineering or Chemistry for undergrad?

I like chemistry and math and yadeyada and I’ve read a bunch of “chemE vs Chem” discussions already and I am well aware that chemEs make more money. I initially picked chemE because it’s very versatile and I would have the option of not going to grad school, but I also kind of want to go to grad school eventually for something like along the lines of chemistry or even pharmacology. My end goal is to be working with drugs and medicine, but that’s pretty much all I got and I’d rather work in a lab than in industry. If I were to do chemE, I’d also have a chem minor. So like a chem major, I’d be taking both orgo 1 and 2, and pchem 1 and 2. However, will the chemE major with the chem minor prepare me enough for a grad degree in chem? I could also do a grad degree in chemE I guess, but what are the main differences?
