<p>i'm thinking about studying chemE at michigan- is there any reason (like bad teachers or something) that it's the lowest ranked of the engineering disciplines on usnews? how come it doesn't dominate like the other departments do? i figure it's michigan engineering, so as long as i get a decent gpa, i should be fine. is this true?</p>
<p>specifically, does anyone here have any knowledge of the quality of the professors or of the relationships among the students?</p>
