<p>Hey guys!
So I got my UCI TAG approved a while ago and everything seemed to be going sweet, until this Spring semester... the General Chemistry 2 class I needed to take got cancelled at the last moment, which made me quickly enroll at all and any other city college. Unfortunately, they all pushed back my enrollment date, and since then I have been trying to add the class everywhere as a petitioner or high numbered wait-listed student. Not going too well :S. I was wondering if I can still take the class in this Summer and would it still be counted? It says on the assist.org website that you have to take Gen. Chem for a year, but I am hoping that simply implies finishing the sequence, right???
Also, if all goes to worse and I don't get in at all does that completely revoke my hopes of transferring at all, even as a normal student (i.e. one without the TAG)?
Hoping to hear all your wise input on the matter and planning according to it!
Cheeky...</p>
<p>I forgot to mention that I am a BIOLOGY major…</p>
<p>Write a letter explaining the situation to the schools you want to go through, or mention it in the academic update. They can’t really nail you for things out of your hands, especially cause you are planning to take it in the Summer</p>
<p>Ur TAG might get canceled because of it. I would write it in the update and hope for the best.</p>
<p>I think they’ll understand if you mail them this information.</p>
