Paradoxically, Chemistry is my favorite class and it is also my lowest grade (83%). Can anyone give me suggestions on how to improve my grade? I'm stribing to bump my grade up to an A before the end of the semester but I don't know if it's possible now. :(

I take a rigorous and time consuming history class so I never have enough time to study well for chem it seems. But I am trying to mangage my time better now. Can anyone please give me advice on how to do well in chemistry? I have friends that study less than I do and they have an A in the class. It's so frustrating!!

I had the same problem in chemistry (but I despised it). What I did was come in earlier and stay after school to get more help from the teacher. When I had time, I also attempted to work ahead in the class so as to have free time later to study and review the work.

i had trouble in the beginning of chemistry. then i got a review book ("Chemistry" by Greg Curran- it's not bad), and it kinda helped. it gets much easier once you get to stoichiometry, which is basically conversions. also, i would take a lot of time trying to memorize the basic moleclues' (nitrate, phosphate, cholrate, etc.) chem formula and charge.

For me the naming and formulae and stuff were the easy part. Stoichiometry is hard as hell. I'm doing okay w/ thermodynamics, though. That's physics and stuff, so it's ok.
