physics (at least in my hs book) is all calculus! the only reason i'm doing okay is because my teacher simplifies it for us!
to me, chemistry was really easy. there is practically no math!

you don't like math? take biology then....but out of the two chemistry is much more relaxing...physics labs are too abstract and the concepts are abstract too....in chemistry, you can see molecules spinning around your head when you walk into the classroom and picture them colliding and reacting and mixing...its great fun.....but for me, never even dream of showing me a velocity-time graph because i will destroy it

It depends on the teachers really. Ask around your school to see ow the teachers are in each class. I took chem last year and nearly failed it, but I have a strong B/B+ going in physics this year. Both of the teachers were great, but my physics teacher spends more time actually teaching and making sure we understand it rather than just giving us a bunch of practice problems and saying "ok, go." He's also available much more after and cefore school if someone needs extra help. So I would say at my school, definitely go for physics. But you're not at my school, so you need to figure out what each of the classes are like at yours. One more thing: you should figure out if your physics teacher would make you memorize formulas. If he does, then stay away. My teacher gives them to us on each test.

Oh, and I suck at math too.

Physics = precalculus or calculus
Chemistry = Algebra II

Physics is really cool Unless you're in Ap physics you dont need Ap cal . You will be with precal if you're just taking physics. I took Honors Physics in 9th grade along with AlgebraII and did get A on both.

Um neither. But then I despise both :)

physics. and also ask students who have taken the classes what they are like.

do NOT take physics.
you were forewarned.

i'm not really a math person at all, and i took both the AP chemistry and honor level physics junior year... the physics class i struggled with SO much and ap chem was so much more interesting and lively for me, especially the labs! physics is all formulas. and deriving formulas. and how to APPLY formulas to reality.

chemistry is more simple algebra ii based, so i would say go chemistry!

ap chem has a lot more math

I don't really see the hard math in physics.. Just square rooting and squaring. The hard part is diagramming, finding the right formula, plugging in the right numbers..

Chemistry is more fun. And easier. Says guy with 2 sems of Chem and 1 of Phys (doing 2nd one now).
