CHemistry subject test?

whats the best prep book for it?
and I took regular chem and got an A+ general chem was soo easy.
and now im taking AP chem but like borderline of an A.

i originally took the bio one without studying and got a 600. I took general bio and managed an A and took AP bio and managed a B but got a 2 on the exam. im not a bio person at all anyways.

so is taking the chem test a good idea or should i stick and study more for the bio E one?

Try taking practice tests for both Bio and Chem and see which subject you do better in...

Chem requires less memorization, so I think chem is easier than Bio...

If you're taking chem, I recommend using Kaplan + Princeton Review. I don't like Barron's book in that it has too much unnecessary info and is tooo boring. I like Kaplan's but Kaplan does not include environmental + laboratory chem, so you would want to use Princeton Review for that. PR and Kaplan each covered some info that the other book did not. So using them in combination should ensure that you have all the info you need for the test. If you only wish to read one book for the test, I'll say definitely go for PR. Its contents and practice tests are really similar to the real SAT and reading its last 2 chapters the night b4 Nov SAT really helped me a whole lot.

ok cool. is the periodic table good? Does it have the charges and masses?

For the chemistry test, is there ever a question where we would need to know the charges of certain transition metals? (like copper can be +2 or +3)
