Hello,
I'd like to hear some information for my top-choice school, Cheshire Academy. Because I'm not able to visit the school, so every details I receive, I very appreciate. Is it a well academic school? or about its life, clubs, afternoon activities...
thank you.

I don’t know very much about Cheshire myself, but did you look at the website? Here’s the link: http://www.cheshireacademy.org/podium/default.aspx?t=148361

The website has a lot of good information. I’d take a good chunk of time to go through everything.

Thank you for putting something from the internet. I’d like to receive personal experience for Cheshire.

@amedream Can I ask why Chesire is your top choice?

I’ve known the school for few years and in my thought, it is the most suitable school due to rolling admission, PG offer, adequate SAT average, AP Psychology and sports/clubs extracurricular.

Have you gotten in yet or is this for the next cycle?

no, i’m doing my best. my Toefl score was not good last year, so I will take another chance this summer

My son just got accepted to Cheshire. Would love to hear about current student and parent experiences there
I live in Cheshire. CA is a small school with two academic specialties: International Baccalaureate (IB) and the Roxbury Program, which helps students that need extra attention. It has good athletics, many go on to college sports. Nice location in Cheshire, a quiet, upper class, traditional NE town. Walking distance (5 minutes) to food shopping, Marshalls, fast food, restaurants, banks, beauty salons, and public library. Currently has a large international Asian population, also has a sizeable day student population. My DD does not go there, (just got accepted to Choate, which is 15 minutes away) but we know a lot of locals who attend. I know some of the staff and am impressed by their kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Has a 100% 4 year scholarship for 1 Cheshire student a year, and there is stiff competition, considered a huge honor. If you PM me, I could look for some emails of parents that I know.
