<p>Does anybody in here play chess? If yes, how good do you think you are? I'll start off. I was one of the top 10 players in canada for my age group.</p>
<p>I play chess. I'm no grandmaster, but my high school team always does very well at local and even state tournaments (Thanks to me, of course :) )</p>
<p>I like to play for fun, but i don't know any of the stategies or anything though. I would obviously get destroyed by anyone who knows what they are doing but it is still fun to play.</p>

<p>well i play chess locally and i win at local tournaments. im not really interested in playing with patzers anymore, to be honest, so i just dont play anymore. too bad theres no real tournaments at state level or anything, at least none i know about</p>

<p>I play some chess, I used to play pretty seriously when I was like 6 or 7. I guess you can say I was "pretty good." I won a bunch of competitions and stuff and did some stuff at state, never quite got around to doing anything at state though, I made it to state one time, but my parents wouldn't take me :). </p>
<p>I remember I played a few years ago and was ranked at 2000+(or was it 2100?) on Yahoo chess, not that it really means anything, with all the abusers and such. I've basically stopped playing for the past year or 2 I guess, it doesn't really have that much appeal to me anymore, I've got other obligations now.</p>
