<p>I'm not serious - not part of a club or anything. I play casually (usually on Chess Titans on Windows 7, lol).</p>

<p>he goes to different countries to teach kids chess and stuff. hes going to harvard</p>

<p>I meet some friends at a cafe a couple times a month for “chess club”. Only about half of us actually play chess though.</p>
<p>I play. I wish I could play more often and get better at it, though. I’m currently ranked at about 1150.</p>
<p>Chess is fun. I too don’t play seriously, but I’m better than almost all of my friends. </p>

<p>Ha I go to chess club every week and like someone on here said, most of the kids don’t even play. I usually play the same kid every week. It is fun to have a rival but I would love to play a fellow CC’er. It would be intense ;)</p>
<p>I have a reputation of being a great chess player. It’s hard to tell people “I’m not good, it’s just that you’re terrible.” I’m really quite average.</p>
<p>Lol I suck. People think I’ll be good, and I end up failing. I’d consider myself below average lol.</p>
<p>I can play, but I usually don’t do well for whatever reason. Maybe because I didn’t learn formally? Who knows.</p>

<p>I like chess. I used to be better, when I was in chess club and whatnot, but still not good.</p>
<p>Well I guess I won two chess tournaments back in 3rd grade and then didn’t place in much of the others but haven’t done much chess since… :/</p>
<p>I love chess so much. I’m very hypermodernistic, as evidenced by my favorite openings being the Reti and Alekhine’s (for 1. e4) and King’s Indian (for 1. d4).</p>
<p>King’s Gambit is the only official opening I know. Just because my father used it on me so much as a child. I finally got him back when I was 12 or so.</p>

<p>I don’t know people always assume that people who do well at school will be good at chess. I’m kind of imprudent when I play. I suck. I’ve won two games of chess in my life. I was in chess club for a couple of months in Year 7, but after that I decided not to keep tormenting myself.</p>
