If you're applying to the University and you're from the Chicago area, please introduce yourself, say which part of Chicago or suburb you're from, and give the name of your admissions counselor.

My name's Gian. I'm from the southern suburbs, and my admissions counselor is Adele Brumfield.

Hey! I'm from the north shore and my counselor's Melissa Meltzer. Have you met Ms. Brumfield? I had her for an information session and she seemed really nice. Actually, that's one of the reasons I really like Chicago- at alot of the other schools I've visited the admissions counselors are really off putting- they try to sell the school like a used car- but I think the adcoms for Chicago really represent the school well.
Will you be applying EA, Gian?

It's one crazy name after the next- I'm Geneve.
Adele's my counselor as well (I haven't met her! Everytime I'm on campus she isn't there...). Actually, I had a dream that I did meet her, and she looked just like the fashion-lady from The Incredibles.
I'm from the south suburbs, too. Chicago has been my top-choice school forever; everything about the school inspires me. I might as well sleep with ChicagoLife under my pillow, I'm buried in it so often.
Also, I am not a total flake like my username suggests! :)

Hey gambadent! I did talk with a counselor once (in the summer before junior year), but I can't remember her name.. might have been Ms. Brumfield. All the admissions officers I met seem really nice.

I'm applying regular decision.

I wonder which southern suburb of Chicago HunnyBunny is from. :)

Hey everyone! My name is Alykhan. I am applying as a transfer student. I am currently at DePaul University in Lincoln Park. I am originally from the north shore, Deerfield to be more specific. My admissions counselor is Andre Phillips. I am applying EA.

My name is Genevieve and I'm from the North Shore, too. (highland park, actually) I went to high school in Lake Forest for awhile. I now live in Michigan (for the last year), but I consider myself a Chicagoan. I want to be an econ major and become an entrepreneur because free-market capitalism rocks.
