<p>Physics, maths, and I read on the forum that the Classics are one of the best too.</p>

<p>what about near eastern languages and civilizations? and biology, neuroscience in particular anyone know anything about those?

<p>nada, i've heard good things about neuroscience, as well [something i'd like to do as my double major!] but... what at chicago ISN'T good?</p>

<p>I think Chicago had the first sociology department. They are usually ranked in the very top in USN&WR grad school rankings in the social sciences (sociology, history, sociology, Anthroplogy). </p>
<p>I don't think computer & information sciences are that strong though.</p>

<p>UChi definitely has one of the best departments, though I do not think Ms. Nussbaum is taking any students at the moment.</p>
