<p>i thought it'd be the only way to have people read this. apparently no one cares much to comment. :(</p>

<p>I applied ED to Swarthmore and I'm waiting on the results. I'm pretty much having a heart attack. Care to rate my chances so I'm not flying blind here?</p>

<p>SAT I:
V:720 M:700</p>

<p>SAT II:
Math IIC: 730
Literature: 740
Writing: 750</p>

<p>Classes:
Pretty much the hardest classes my school offers throughout; AP classes include:
US History, English, Biology, Calculus, Government</p>

<p>GPA: 3.566(ish.)</p>

<p>My essay's really good I think, plus good recommendations.</p>

<p>Activities:
Cheerleading, Literary Magazine (Editor in Chief), Newspaper (Editor), Leo Club, National Honor Society</p>

<p>you look pretty good. they have a 45% acceptance rate early, compared to 22% RD. so you have a lot more slack than i do.
i'm doing RD with grand total 3910/3.96uw, so i had better get in too.</p>

<p>AHHHH! My stats are very very similar to yours, and I applied to Swat ED too! Good luck to you! Some consolation, if you're a girl: I read that 40% of the females who applied got in last year, versus 24% of the guys.....does that make sense?</p>

<p>no, it doesn't make sense. i am a girl. :) but i really hate all of the "quota" type things like that. i know diversity is a plus but it just feels so unfair sometimes. </p>
