Hi Everyone,
After today, I have, after 6 months of waiting, found that I have been placed on the waitlist at Choate Rosemary Hall. From the beginning of the admissions process, Choate had always been at the top of the list.
The waitlist letter says:
The Admission Committee at Choate Rosemary Hall was impressed with you and your application. We faced one of the most competitive applicant pools in the history of the School which made our decisions even more difficult. It is with this in mind that I invite you to be on our Wait List.

We are faced with many difficult decisions during the period of candidate evaluation and asking someone to be on our Wait List is one of our toughest decisions. You have demonstrated to our Admission Committee all of the qualities we hope for in a candidate and, indeed, there is a possibility we will be able to offer you a place in our incoming class in the ensuing weeks if you are willing to wait with us. Please know we have enrolled Wait-Listed candidates over the years who have been very successful students in our community.

I certainly hope to get off the waitlists!
Are there any other Choate waitlistees?
