Choices... choices... wanna help me?

Pretty much every year i've been in high school i've taken some of my required and non required high school classes at a local junior college. This year, I took AP spanish at school and have exhausted pretty much all the spanish classes available to me at my high school, so, i thought i'd take the next level Spanish at the JC. I need to practice, and i think spanish is important, especially for someone liek me who lives in CA and wants to go into healthcare. However, after taking spanish for 4 solid years since middle school, i feel a bit sick of it. I know taking it next fall would be the "right" thing to do before i forget most of it, but there's just other things i want to take.. like Nutrition for instance.

This is a class that I have always wanted to take as well and up until now have not had to opportunity to. It's basically a class about the chemistry of food and how your body metabolizes and incorporates those elements. it also teaches you about consumer-product issues and what the best foods to eat are to achieve various results and why.

I can only take one of these classes during the fall. If i don't take Spanish I'll still take it some other time. But i feel it might look better to have another semester of Spanish on my transcript for when i apply to colleges instead of one random semester of nutrition (i guess that would count for science?).

Which should i take? Keep in mind that this is my senior year. I'm taking ALL AP's next year with exception to choir, so ill be pretty louded with work. I'll also be applying to colleges that first semester so I don't want to be too overworked. Which is the better class???

Well. Look at it this way. You've taken 4 years of a language and unless you want to major in it, most colleges think that many years is great. A lot of people don't even have a choice after AP Spanish. And you'll be loaded with APs. So why don't you take nutrition since it's a class you've wanted to take for a while now, and you've already taken 4 years of espanol, and you'll already be loaded next year. I personally think another year of spanish would be unbearable, but it seems that you really like it so it may not be that bad. So..both classes are easy. But you've never taken 1 and you've already taken 4 years of the other. Do something different, 4 years is really enough for your transcript.

I only have 3 years on my transcipt. my first year of spanish was taken in middle school and I didn't want it put on my transcript. So, althouhg i've completed all the levels of spanish at my high school, i only took three years. I'm worried about that.
