Choosing a Career

Is it possible to declare a major in nursing, more specifically an RN, with a bsn (preferably an msn) and minor in marine biology with a bs (masters also preferred) in the state of California?

Going to Nursing school while pursuing a minor or a double major at the same time is most likely impossible. You could do a BS in Marine Biology, take the rest of the Nursing school pre-req’s that are not covered in your BS degree and then do a post bacc Accelerated Nursing program.

** The Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing Program (ABSN) is designed for non-RN students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing.**

Why degrees in both areas?
