Choosing A College At UCSD

<p>So I'm not sure about which college to pick for UCSD.</p>

<p>I know I definitely want to go into the sciences (biology etc) but Revelle kind of intimidates me because it's supposed to be hard core. Also apparently Marshall is a nightmare because of all the extra mathematics (which I definitely want to avoid).</p>

<p>I know Muir has I nice reputation but can you be science kid and still go there? I'll commute so I don't really care about dorms but apart from that what do you think would be the best college to choose? Thanks.</p>

<p>Well, when I did a visit there, I heard that Muir was a really popular #1 choice, and my tour guides were science majors and in Muir. I don’t think it matters what major, just if the views/gen ed requirements appeal to you. The only real stereotype I heard was that Sixth College is for artsy types.</p>
