I'm a music major entering my sophomore year, and I'll be taking 8 classes this upcoming semester that add up to 17 units. I'll also have 3 hours of rehearsal per week for a class, in addition to my own band that will likely put in around 3 hours a week on top of that. When I factor in other time-consuming band endeavors, my personal daily practice room time, and assignments for my various music classes, I'm tempted to just take the general education course that everyone says is the easiest so I don't drive myself insane. However, there's another one I could take that seems much more interesting to me content-wise, but the professor has a reputation for being sort of weird and not really the easy-A type. Would it be wise to take the one I'm more interested in, so it'll be less tedious and grueling (I'm really bad with tedious work), or should I take the one everyone says is an easy A, so I can just focus on all my other classes?

I also have ADHD, which causes me to get overwhelmed pretty easily sometimes, just in case that may prove relevant to my choice.

Honestly I’d take the easy A. What are the two subjects you are considering?

Interesting. An easy class isn’t an “easy” A if you have to slog through the work and studying feels like a chore.
