Easy Classes

All right guys, I'm no slouch - I'm doing two 400 MAEs and a 500 GEO this upcoming semester - but I'm looking to balance out my schedule with a fairly easy, but ideally, interesting class.

So right now I've chosen ART 100, which certainly has a reputation for not being exceedingly difficult, and a pretty laid back atmosphere. Anyone on this forum taken it, or taken another simple class that's a good "filler" for a schedule (for example, I've taken ECO 100 and I would say it took 4-5 hours per week, including going to class and precept and doing homework, and have heard that MUS 103 is mainly listening to music and studying for the midterm and final.)

Any comments would be appreciated...thanks.

I took art 101, which I would assume is similar. There was very little work, although the midterm and final were not super easy. If you are PDF-ing the class or okay with getting a B+ then it requires minimal work. It is also pretty interesting since precepts are in the museum. I probably went to a quarter of the classes and didn't really have time to study for the midterm/final and ended up with a B/B+ (I was taking it PDF).

If you really hate to study, take LIN 201. All the problem sets and exams are take home, open book, and open note. The last half of the course, semantics and phonetics, was pretty interesting, but the section on syntax was pretty dull.
