Choosing a UCSD college

Hi,
This is my second question today but I didn't want the two topics to be confused, so my apologies for that. I'm filling out the UC app right now and it's asking me to rank UC San Diego's 6 colleges according to my preference. I looked on all the websites, but I feel so lost--it's a big decision, one I think based more on "vibe" and environment than any statistic.

I'm a really good student, 99.1% overall GPA, 35 ACT, projected 2280 SAT; I want to double major in Literature/Writing and studio art, eventually to become a journalist, author, or some kind of designer. I'm not really afraid of taking a rigorous GE curriculum (in fact, I'd prefer it), but not a pre-med one--science isn't really my thing.

I'm pretty studious, not at all the "party hard" type, but not antisocial either. I like to be around smart, friendly people who like to have fun but also study a lot :)

UCSD students, any idea which college(s) would be the best fit for me?
Thanks so much for the help!

And there are probably a few threads in the UCSD forum here.
