sorry guys. i know a lot of people have asked for UCSD students to rank the six colleges and explain why... but a lot of the threads are left unanswered.
or maybe. i just have trouble looking for them. :(

once again. can UCSD students rank the six different colleges....
and explain how choosing whichever college would affect admission or anything at all.
because i'm still really confused about why the six colleges have different requirements and etc.

also, can you choose impacted programs for both alternate major & major?

Agree with strongbadfan in that college really doesn't matter.

Being in a particular college will not change which professors you'll get or what kind of job you'll have after graduation.
College is just there to give a feeling of being part of a more intimate community in a giant school campus.

So to put things simply:
1. It will not affect your admission chances
2. It DOES affect which classes you may take for your GE's, but other than that, classes are all the same for the majors regardless of which college you are in.
3. Perhaps the most noticeable aspect of the college system is that it would decide which part of the campus you will live in. And that, really does not matter much in your academic experience.
