<p>I am currently a Junior at my university and have taken several statistics courses recently in order to switch my major to Statistics. However my university offers General Statistics and an Applied Statistics major. I was hoping that someone could give me an insight into the difference between General and Applied Statistics in terms of job opportunities after graduation. I have also been flirting with the idea of minoring in CS and was hoping to get insight on whether it would be better to minor in CS with a General Stats degree or an Applied Stats degree.</p>
