With the unique circumstances of Covid and not being able to visit college campuses, it has been challenging getting a feel for colleges. My DD auditioned through Dancewave and Beyond this past summer and was admitted into a number of great BFA Dance programs through that process. She is looking at Cornish College of the Arts, Peabody Conservatory, Elon, Point Park, U of Arts, and Montclair. DTCB was a very valuable experience and we highly recommend it. Do any of your children go to any of these universities and can help us get a better feel for the programs? Or would be willing to talk to us about the specifics? Thank you.
Hi! Congrats to your D. My D21 also did the DTCB audition and we found it a very worthwhile process. I do not currently have a student at any of these schools, but I was directed towards a Facebook Group called Dance Parents: College Edition and there are several parents there with students at Montclair, Point Park and UArts. They are very friendly and helpful. I am sure you would find the group a valuable resource.
