<p>Sometimes the board here can get pretty negative, with all the talks about how the ug education pales to the graduate education Cal provides (yes there is a lot of room for improvement but with the current budget woes that will obviously have to wait), but in the past 3 years as a student here I've done so much and learned so much about myself. Obviously I can't compare how life would be different if I had chosen another university, but still...</p>

<p>Does it really matter in the end? A person who picked Cal over San Jose State gets the same degree as the person who chose it over MIT, correct? </p>
<p>I'm glad you've had a great experience; I think the vast majority of the student body probably shares those sentiments!</p>
<p>I hope I'll be able to say the same thing in a few years :)</p>
